Fragalis, fuzobacterium, helicobacter pylori, anaerobic streptococci, gardnerella, vaginalis,clostridium species and is also active against entamoeba histolytica. This combination is very much effective against diarrohoea and dysentery caused by bacteria, protozoa or mixed causes. It has remarkable microbiological features like · Rapid bactericidal activity and high potency. · Relatively long post antibiotic effect on enterobacteriacea. · Low frequency of mutational resistance. · Low Propensity to select plasmid type resistant mutants.
