 Description:
Dicylomine is a weaker anticholinergic
drug. It is used as an antispasmodic.
Composition: - Each ml Contains:
Dicylomine HCl – 10 mg.
Indications: - In gastro –
intestinal spasm.
Irritable bowel syndrome
Hyper peristalsis, pepticulcer, functional diarrhoea.
Contraindications: - Glaucoma,
Prostates Hypertrophy, Suspected glaucoma.
Pregnancy: - Use with caution.
Lactation: - Contraindicated
Children: - Not Recommended
for the children less than 6 months of age.
Side effect: - Dry mouth,
thirst, dizziness, and atonic constipation.
Dosage: - Upto 20 mg I.M.
In children upto 40 mg in divided dose.
Presentation: - Pack of 10
x 30 ml vials.
