 Description:
Paracetamol has analgesic and antipyretic action
with anti-inflammatory activity. These effects
are related to inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis.
It is an analgesic antipyretic of choice especially
in patients in whom salicylates are not used.
COMPOSITION: Each ml contains
Paracetamol 150mg
INDICATIONS: It provides relief
from high fever due to potent antipyretic action.
ADVERSE EFFECTS: Adverse
effects of Paracetamol are rare and usually
mild. Although hematological reactions.
SIDE EFFECTS: Nausea, Rashes,
leucopoenia are rare.
SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS: Hypersensitivity
reactions are rare. Over dosing exhibits liver
damage sometimes-acute renal tubular necrosis.
DOSAGE: 1 to 2ml by I.M.
route.
