COMPOSITION: Each vial contains: Procaine Penicillin 0.3gm (300000 IU)
Benzyl Penicillin Sodium 60mg (100000 IU)

INDICATIONS: Treatment of anthrax, gonococci arthritis, bacterial endocarditis, gingivitis, acute otits
media, bacterial pericarditis, bacterial pneumonia, rat-bite fever, scarlet fever, bacterial
Septicemia, skin and soft tissue infection, syphilis (in combination with probenecid),
yaws. In serious cases and when high initial serum level of Penicillin are needed Procaine
Benzyl penicillin in combination with Benzyl penicillin Sodium is advisable. Prophylaxis
Of Diphtheria (in adjunct to antitoxin)

CONTRAINDICATIONS: Known history of hypersensitivity or allergic reaction to any of the
Penicillin.

PRECAUTIONS: Patients allergic to one penicillin may be allergic to other Penicillin also. Penicillins are
Distributed into breast milk. Although significant problem have not been documented, the use of the Penicillin in nursing mothers may lead to sensitization diarrhoea, candidiasis and skin rash in the infant.
DOSAGE AND AMDIMISTRATION: Intramuscular: 0.6 to 1.2 mega IU every 4 to 6 hours
Diphtheria: 0.3 to 0.6 mega IU daily as adjunctive therapy neurosyphilis: 2.4 Mega IU a day

Rat-bit fever 0.6 Mega IU per kg body weight a day for the ten to
Fourteen days.
