COMBINATION:-
Diclofenac Potassium…………….50
mg.
Dicyclomine Hydrochloride…..10 mg.
DESCRIPTION:- Diclofenac potassium
it has a powerful anti-inflammatory action besides
its analgesic and antipyretic actions. It is an
inhibitor of prostaglandin synthesis. Dicyclomine
is an tertiary amine used for antispasmodic activity.
It also acts as an anti muscarinic compound. This
compound depresses all synapses on motor parts
in the spinal chord.Thus by addition depressing
polysynaptic more then monosyanaptic. Spasmicity
is mediated by polysyanaptic path.
INDICATIONS:-
· Pain after operation and traumatic injury.
· Cystitis, epididymitis. Pericoronitis
of the Wisdom tooth, alveolar abscess.
· Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis,
low back pain, ankylosing spondylit, gout. Acute
musculo skeletal disorders, periarthritis (Frozen
shoulder) tendenitis, tenosynovitis, bursitis,
sprains and dislocations. Painful post-operative
conditions. Pain following dental surgery. Painful
inflammatory conditions in gynaecology also it
is used in abdominous spasm
· As an analgesic.
· Used in Pains of sinusitis, Cystitis,
epididymitis. Pericoronitis of the Wisdom tooth,
alveolar abscess.
CONTRAINDICATION:- Blood coagulation
abnormalities Active or recurrent peptic ulcers,
hypersensitivity, asthmatic patients in whom attacks
of asthma are precipitated by aspirin or other
NSAIDS, pregnancy, lactation.
Pregnancy: Contraindicated.
Lactation: Contraindicated.
Paediatrics: Use with caution.
PRESENTION: 5 x 50 TABLETS IN
ONE MULTICORTON. |
