 Description:
Diclofenac is a nonsteroidal compound with a pronounced
anti-inflammatory, analgesic and
Antipyretic properties. Diclofenac acts by inhibiting
the prostaglandin biosynthesis, with plays major role
in the inflammation, pain and fever.
Composition: Each ml contains Diclofenac sodium:
25mg
Indications: Acute severe pain due to inflammatory
and degenerative forms of rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing
spondylitis, osteoarthritis. Renal colic, painful post
traumatic and post operative inflammation and swelling.
Pain followed by dental surgery. Acute attacks of gout.
Precautions: Strict accuracy of diagnosis and
dose, medical surveillance is imperative in the patients
with
Symptoms indicative of gastrointestinal ulceration
with hepatic impairment, Pregnancy.
Contra Indications: Peptic ulcer, hypersensitivity
to the active substance or
excipients.
Dosage: 100 mg to 150 mg in divided doses.
